I have been doing a few more reviews for Uneporte.net. Namely There’s Something More about Mary, Stargate SG-1 Season 3 and Cowboy Bebop: The Movie. The Cowboy Bebop movie DVD is excellent. If you’ve enjoyed the TV series, you’ll love this one.

Omerta on DVD

According to DVDenfrancais, the french TV series Omerta will be released on DVD throughout next year. One interesting fact is that the release would be handled by TVA Films, even though the series was presented on Radio-Canada. I know I definitely will be getting these if they do come out.

Third review

My third critic has been published on UnePorte.net. This time, I am reviewing the Region 1 release of the French movie Nid de Guêpes. It was an average action movie with a lot of DVD extras.

My second DVD review has been published on uneporte.net. It is a review of the movie Evelyn, starring Pierce Brosnan. I had not heard about this movie when it was released in theaters but it was quite good.

Some news

I just joined the team of DVD reviewers of a site called uneporte.net. My first published review is of the DVD Box Set of Le Dernier Chapitre. I will be writing more reviews for this site on a regular basis. The next one I started working on will be of the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets DVD.

Sleeping Beauty Special Edition

The Sleeping Beauty Special Edition DVD set has finally been announced for release in North America. It has already been out for over 6 months in Europe. It will be a two-disc set with a new restored transfer of the movie.

Le Dernier Chapitre

I just got the box set for the first season of Le Dernier Chapitre, published by Morningstar Entertainment and I must say they did a great job producing it. The artwork is great and so is the video transfer.

Star Wars Trilogy Petition

A petition is being organised to get the original version of the Star Wars trilogy out on DVD.

As it stands, George Lucas has stated in an interview recently that he would only release the Special Edition version of the three classic films on DVD. If you want to see the original version on DVD, go and sign the petition on OriginalTrilogy.com.

The Animatrix

The second short film of The Animatrix has been posted on the web. Entitled Program, it is a pretty cool story.

Le Dernier Chapitre

The first season of Le Dernier Chapitre, presented on Radio-Canada last year, will be released on DVD this week on March 18th. The english version, The Last Chapter will also be available. This series tells the story of rival biker gangs in Toronto, fighting for control of the territory. It stars Michael Ironside and Roy Dupuis.
